Introduction
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of the iOS/iPadOS app "NeoN VJ" ("App") provided by NeoN (an independent developer). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Terms of Use
- The App may be used for personal and commercial purposes (such as music events, music detection and display at restaurants, etc.)
- Redistribution, reverse engineering, or modification of the App is prohibited
- Use for illegal purposes is prohibited
Intellectual Property Rights
- Copyright and other intellectual property rights of the App belong to NeoN
- Copyright of music recognized by the App belongs to the respective rights holders
- Shazam and ShazamKit are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Disclaimer
- The accuracy of music recognition is not guaranteed. Recognition results should be used as reference information only
- The service may be temporarily interrupted for system maintenance or other reasons
- NeoN is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
Changes to Terms
These Terms may be changed as necessary. Important changes will be announced on this page or within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used. NeoN VJ is designed with user privacy as a top priority.
Microphone Usage
The App requires access to the microphone to provide music recognition functionality.
Purpose of Use:
- Recognition of music playing in the surrounding area (using ShazamKit API)
- Real-time display of song information
Important Points:
- Audio data is used only for music recognition
- No audio recording or storage is performed
- Audio data is processed only on the device and is not sent to external servers (except for music fingerprints sent to the ShazamKit API)
Data Storage
The App stores the following settings only on your device:
- Display settings (font size, layout, etc.)
- Recognition settings (recognition mode, sensitivity, etc.)
- Custom background images and logo images
This data:
- Is stored only on your device
- Is not sent to external servers
- Is deleted when the App is uninstalled
Third-Party Services
The App uses Apple ShazamKit for music recognition. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to the use of ShazamKit.
Data Sharing
The App:
- Does not sell personal information to third parties
- Does not use data for advertising purposes
- Does not share data without explicit user consent
Children's Privacy
The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
Governing Law
These Terms and Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
